- Why not violet: sunlight has less of it, and eyes are less sensitive
- Why sunsets are red: light crosses more atmosphere

What the video skipped
Amounts the video never gave stay “Not stated in the video”, and steps skipped in editing get their own checklist before you start.

Questions
Which sites work?
Public videos on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Bilibili, Xiaohongshu and Douyin. If a platform blocks a link or restricts it by region, you can upload a local video file you have the right to use. We don’t bypass login walls, paywalls or private access.
Will it make up amounts or steps?
No — it won’t fill in gaps from generic recipes. It only writes what the video says or clearly shows, and marks missing weights or temperatures as “Not stated in the video”. AI can still misread a detail, so tap the timestamp to double-check anything important.
Can it translate between English and Chinese?
Yes. Pick your note language before you start — a Chinese cooking video can become English recipe notes, and an English tutorial can become Chinese notes.
How much does it cost?
It goes by video length, and failed runs never count. Free gives you 30 minutes in total with no expiry or monthly reset; Only Free is open today — Pro and Studio are coming soon.
Do you keep the original videos?
On Free, videos are only held briefly while writing your notes and then deleted. Planned Pro (10 GB) and Studio (50 GB) tiers include video storage while subscribed, with a 30-day grace period after cancelling or exceeding your limit before extra videos are cleared. Your written notes stay either way.
